8 Amazingly Unique Airbnb Places to Stay in USA

The shared economy has given us crazy cool and unique vacation rentals, learn more about our favorites here: 8 Amazingly Unique Airbnb Places to Stay in USA.

Sensory Overloaded in Pitt

Martin and Jesha are the hosts of this ADHD nightmare.  Both are artists and have decorated the entire place with their unique style and authentic pieces of artwork scattered throughout.  Pittsburgh is a great city with cool sights to see, though after a few hours in this place you may find your sense of vision overloaded. Starting at $165/nt at  Tons o' Mirrors

You Lost 5 Oxen Crossing the River

Jump on the Oregon Trail IRL with this 1920's restored sheep wagon!  Admittedly, the views that this rolling hotel offers are far better than the 8-bit experience you had growing up, but sadly unlike the game this rental does not include oxen; or dysentery, so that's a plus! Starting at $125/nt at Oregon Trail

Guiding Ships in Mass.

You can stay in a New England lighthouse; a freaking lighthouse!  This 3-bedroom home in Pocasset, MA has been renovated from it's previous life as a US Coast Guard Lighthouse.  Your stay will include some history, some beach, 360 degree views, and New England charm. Starting at $500/nt at Light a Path

Glamping in Malibu

Hard to imagine that someone would think that "camping in Malibu" would be anything but luxurious.  Check out this fully updated airstream camper with a huge wood deck that overlooks the Californian coast.  At a perfect 5-star rating you can bet that there will be no regrets in this glamping adventure outside of L.A. Starting at $500/nt at Rugged Camper

Castle w/ "Moat"

You always knew you were royalty but you're no king or queen without a castle.  This is your chance to live the medieval fantasy sans Inquisition, chastity belts, and Black Plague - ok, this should be a little better than medieval times.  There isn't an actual moat but there is a heated outdoor swimming pool which is pretty much the same thing. Starting at $600/nt at Goodknight

Spaceship Takes You to Space, Earthship Takes You to New Mexico

This is one of the oddest places to stay we've seen, but it's also pretty sweet.  Dubbed the Earthship this biosphere-esk build in New Mexico will transform you into the ultimate ecologicouple in the world.  You're totally off the grid with this location that captures rainwater for use, and generates its own electricity which powers top electronics and wifi.  I guess that means you're still, sort of, on the grid, but you don't have to log in to the wifi. Starting at $125/nt at Down to Earth

Live Like an Ewok

Most reviews would reference Swiss Family Robinson but Millennials don't get the reference so Star Wars it is!  This sweet treehouse near Atlanta, Georgia lets you live in the trees away from predators and Patriot fans alike (still burns all of us, Falcon fans). Starting at $375/nt at Swiss Family Who?

Privacy is Overrated

Have you ever longed to live a real life recreation of a mediocre yet underperformed romcom (not so much rom, or com for that matter)?  This is your chance to live the Lakehouse dream with this totally modern and totally awesome glasshouse that provides you with windows every direction you look.  Don't worry about privacy, it's raised above the ground high enough that only a unique treehouse would be able to look in. Starting at $500/nt at Sad Keanu What "wish list" vacation rentals do you want to check out on your honeymoon or otherwise?  Share with us in the comments below.
